We are excited to announce to announce the 17th Annual OPC Conference!  The event will be held 8am to 5pm on Friday, June 5th, 2026, at the Embassy Suites Norman – Hotel & Conference Center in Norman, Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Parents Center (OPC) hosts this annual conference to bring together families and professionals from across the state. This year’s event will feature informative and engaging sessions.

The theme this year is BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS…CREATING SUCCESSFUL CHANGE!

The Oklahoma Parents Center is co-hosting this conference with the Oklahoma State Department of Education. We are also pleased to welcome our main presenter, Dr. David Hurford, a renowned psychologist and expert in dyslexia. He serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Reading at Pittsburg State University and is the founder and director of the Center for the Assessment and Remediation of Reading Difficulties (CARRD, Inc.).

This conference is FREE to attend but due to space restrictions and logistical limitations at the hotel, registration will be capped at 200 participants.

As with every Statewide Conference, there will be great speakers, much information shared, lunch provided, and plenty of door prizes!
