“Navigating Special Education and Beyond”
15th Annual Statewide Conference
Friday and Saturday, June 28 and 29, 2024

The Oklahoma Parents Center (OPC) would like to announce our 15th Annual Statewide Conference “Navigating Special Education and Beyond” on Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30am – 3:30pm. The conference will be held at the Reed Conference Center at 5800 Will Rogers Rd, Midwest City, OK 73110.
This conference is designed to educate parents, families and professionals in building partnerships that meet the needs of children and youth with the full range of disabilities ages’ birth to 26. As with every statewide conference, there will be great speakers, much information shared, lunch, and plenty of door prizes.
It is FREE for attendees, but we do need you to register.
We expect this year’s conference to be a huge success with expected attendance of 300 so register today!

Delta Hotel at the Reed Conference center is offering a block of rooms starting at $110 a night.
No. The Oklahoma Parents Center will not have any accommodations for children at the conference. However, we are pleased to partner with Sooner SUCCESS to provide Lifespan Respite Grant Vouchers for Educational Events in the amounts of $50 for a half day or $100 for a full day. Since this is a 2 day conference, you could be eligible for $200. Limited availability. Email respitecare@ouhsc.edu to receive an online application.
Some helpful guidelines from Sooner SUCCESS from
- Caregivers are full-time, unpaid caregivers providing care 8 or more hours in a 24 hour period;
- Caregivers and Care Receivers are full-time Oklahoma residents;
- Care recipients need alternative caregiving during the educational event;
- Caregivers must be registered for the event; and
- Caregivers must complete an application prior to the educational event
Note: If you receive a Stipend from OPC to attend, you are eligible for a voucher.
A limited number of $50 scholarships are available for participants with financial need, with primary consideration given to individuals with disabilities and their families. The stipends are available on a first come, first serve basis.

An Exhibitor Booth at the Oklahoma Parents Center Conference will introduce your products and/or services to participants from all areas of Oklahoma. Booth Rental is $150.00 per table, which includes meals for 2 people. The non-profit rate is $100.00 per table – to receive this rate, please send your verification with your Booth Rental Form. There will be limited complimentary spaces available for volunteer based organizations – email to inquire. The deadline for booths is June 3, 2024.
